The 5th stage of the "Run Latvia" series, or the 9th Kuldīga Half Marathon, has been completed, where the Līvāni team's composition was larger than usual, joined by Līvāni BJSS students and long-distance running debutant Valērijs Šakels. The team set off on a journey to Kuldīga, where they encountered accommodation issues, but quickly found a solution. The morning started hopefully with cloudy weather and a comfortable temperature, but as the start approached, the air became warmer, and the runners had to battle the heat.

- The Līvāni team consisted of a larger number of athletes, including Līvāni BJSS trainees and long-distance running debutant Valērijs Šakelis.
