A brand new event for trail runners and nature enthusiasts is being created at ZELTA KROGS! It takes place in the unique Piebalga region, encompassing both the hilly meadow labyrinths and wild trail sections, as well as a variety of cultural and historical landmarks. The distance will wind through the skiing trails of Jaunpiebalga and Vecpiebalga, passing through the authentic yard of the open-air museum “Vēveri” and the E. Dārziņš museum “Jāņaskola,” alongside the Bricu and Draugoļu lakes, across the area's highest point, Telviešu Hill (261m), and finishing right by the historic ruins of Zelta Krogs. This will be a challenging yet incredibly beautiful run!
