Latgale, hills and valleys, sun, warm breeze, the blue eyes of lakes, blooming meadows, and so much more makes one want to rejoice and celebrate the upcoming third stage of the trail running series “Stirnu buks,” named “Dubuļu Styrnu buks.” This stage will take place on May 25th in Dubuļi, notable for marking the return to Latgale after an 8-year hiatus, and it will host the 2024 Latvian Championship in the ultramarathon trail running discipline. The Squirrel course will be run by the team from Bauska State Gymnasium, and participants will receive a large medal shaped like the outline of Latvia, where they can collect the trail running badges they earn.
Highlights
