The Vilkaču Marathon is arguably the toughest marathon, taking place in the Āžu Hill area, utilizing forest roads and trails. The total length of the marathon course is 42,195 meters, consisting of 13 identical laps, each approximately 3,246 meters long. Participants are allotted 7 hours to complete the distance, which includes over 2,000 meters of elevation gain. The marathon takes place in a beautiful setting, featuring points such as Krēsla and Āžu Hill.
